About Me

Hello, I'm Nuno. I'm a Portuguese Computer Scientist/Statistician with a special interest in Artificial Intelligence and Cybernetics.

I enjoy taking long hikes in the middle of nature to relax. When at home I'm usually either reading philosophy, horror or sci-fi, reading about science and math, learning constructed languages (Esperanto, Toki Pona), playing some games (No Man's Sky, Zelda, Diablo, Dwarf Fortress, Cataclysm), listening to music, or petting/playing with my pet bunny Lua. I'm also a fan of a number of Audiodramas.

I've been around computers and machines since I was born, so I will also learn new concepts and languages related to computer science or electronics as a way to pass the time. I'm also interested in experimenting with new AI Techniques.

My musical tastes are quite varied nowadays and range from dark ambient and industrial music to metal (doom & black metal bands mostly), and includes synthwave and also some techno and trance.

Politically I tend towards mutualism with focus on a post-scarcity setting.
